Felicia was raised mostly by her mother, Lydia hardy, to become a Park Avenue princess; anything she wanted, she got. In the meantime, her father, Walter Hardy, was busy with "business" that would always take him far from home. These business trips were really just a cover for Walter's real job which was being a first class thief. he was considered an expert at his craft and only went for highly prized items like the Mona Lisa and other such priceless pieces. It wasn't until he was caught that Lydia felt the need to lie and tell everyone (including Felicia) that Walter had died in plane accident so she could save the Hardy name. Felicia still felt like her father was alive and decided to investigate the situation. In the end she found out that her mother had lied about the whole thing and that her father was still alive. She tries to save him while talking on the 'Black Cat' name but when Spider-Man shows up she runs into a few problems.
Personal History:
From a very early age Felicia was constantly trying to please her mother by bringing home excellent grades and even agreeing to ballet lessons while desperately wanting to join a basketball team. However, no matter how hard she tried, Felicia couldn't help but get into trouble at school. By the time she was in 4th grade she had already been in thrown out of three all girl academies for getting into fights. (Both times she had been trying to defend a weaker student from the school bully.) The only person who was ever able to get through to Felicia was her father. Although, his visits were rare, she treasured them more than anything else in the world because he was the only one who understood what kind of person she was and never tried to change her like everyone else.
A few years later and nothing had really changed except that now the boys were starting to look at the platinum blonde as more than just a classmate while the girls became jealous. It wasn't until she started her freshman year in high school that rumors started to fly around about Felicia's father which lead to her getting into even more fights. Lydia threatened to send Felicia away to a boarding school in Paris if her behavior did not become more like that of a Hardy woman. Therefore, the platinum beauty started to get into less fights and was forced to join cheerleading for the basketball team or be sent to another all girls school. It was when she was alone in the gym shooting a few hoops that she bumped into the star player, Ryan. The two seemed to really click and it looked like they could easily become the king and queen of the school but that really wasn't a title Felicia wanted. Ryan started to become controlling and even jealous anytime a guy so much as looked at her. It was this behavior that lead to Felicia breaking up with him. Ryan begged her for a second chance and got her to agree to a date. Long story short.... As soon as Felicia walked away from her drink, he drugged it and she was being pinned to his bed. Felicia Hardy was now a victim of rape... For days she remained in her room as feelings of depression and worthlessness overcame her. It wasn't until a dream about her father caused Felicia to get out of bed and go for a run where she took note of a poster for victims of rape. She immediately grew aggravated and tore the poster down because she hated feeling like a victim. After that, Cat started training intensely in Judo and other forms of combat, so that she would never be weak again. However, there was still something that ate at her constantly and that was the smug smile on Ryan's face that she saw every day at school. Felicia knew there was no way anyone would believe that the school's star basketball player had raped her, so she decided to take matters into her own hands and planned out his death. She would have actually gone through with it too if it hadn't been for Ryan being hit by a car the same exact night that she planned to kill him. Feeling cheated, Felicia returned home (passed curfew) to find her mother sitting on her bed. As if Ryan slipping from her fingers was bad enough, Cat was hit with the devastating news that her father had died in a plane crash. Felicia's heart broken into a million pieces that night and all her mother did was say that she could take off from school for a few days.
Knowing that her father would never want her to just waste away in her room because of his death, Felicia decided to train even harder so that she could become the kind of daughter that he would be proud of. It felt good to be so strong but there was still something bothering Felicia and that was her father's death. Cat's gut kept on telling her that he was still alive and no matter how many times she asked about the details of her father's death, Lydia would tell her nothing. She ended up feeling compelled to find the truth and was shocked when she realized that she had been right; Walter Hardy was alive and oh yeah.... He was an infamous thief. From then on in, she decided to follow her father's footsteps. Felicia broke into his office in Manhattan and went through all his notes. She studied everything she could on him and pretty soon made Manhattan her toy store, except that in this toy store cash was not required. With her talent for hacking security systems and lock picking skills, Black Cat was born. Stealing priceless artifacts quickly became child's play for Felicia. There wasn't an item that was out of her reach... Well, almost... Spider-Man was constantly on her tail and soon found out her identity when she tried to rescue her father or rather break him out of jail. In the end, her father died somewhat peacefully at home and Spider-Man was left to try to fix the kitty. It was hard staying a goodie good good but Felicia worked at it because of her infatuation with the bug. Things were going quite well until Peter revealed his identity, thus causing her to tell him to keep the mask on. He accepted things the way they were but still didn't like the idea of his lover always being in harm's way while trying to help him save the city. Often, he would lecture Cat about being careful and with good reason...
After almost being killed while trying to help Peter, she realized that she still needed more power and luckily or maybe more like unlucky...the Kingpin came into the picture. Without Felicia knowing it was him, he offered her the deal of a life time; In exchange for nothing, he would give her SUPERHUMAN abilities! Felicia couldn't resist the chance at being an equal to her Spider and agreed to the Kingpin's terms. Keeping how she got her powers a secret, things seems just fine until her bad luck abilities started to affect even Spider-Man. In the end, this would prove to break the two lovers up and Dr.Strange would have to jump in to remove the bad luck that Felicia's powers had given Peter. After a great deal of time and effort, the two have repaired their friendship and have even tried to hook up in the past until Spider-Man got married. Oh but that hasn't kept Felicia from flirting with him and yes, she still has a thing for Spider but also Peter Parker as well.
Recently, Felicia was approached by Heroes For Hire and offered a job with them-- She decided to give the group a shot. Many people, including most of the people in the group, think that Cat is only in it for the money but being an heiress has left her with more than enough to live a purr-fect life. In reality, she's just trying to see how things go. Even the feline isn't sure if what she is doing right now is the 'right thing' but for now she's testing the waters and getting her adrenaline fix. The only sure thing with the Black Cat is that at any moment her position in the war could switch to the other side.

An experienced gymnast and acrobat of Olympic quality, she can swing from rooftop to rooftop with help from a grappling hook. She's also an experienced hand-to-hand combatant. Felicia grew up training intensely in martial arts (judo), acrobatics, safe cracking, and lock picking. She is also a hacker.
Flaws (Lack of Skills): Overconfidence in her abilities has lead Cat to take on people that were above her level, thus resulting in trips to the hospital. While she may have superhuman reflexes, they are not of the highest quality so if she isn't on her toes then she can be taken out. Also, being that she prefers to handle things alone, this allows for her to be easily ambushed.

Synopsis: Coming from a wealthy family, Felicia is quite the sophisticated minx but that doesn't stop her from getting down and dirty. Through rain, sleet, snow, and whatever else... Cat will brave anything for an adventure and just like any true feline... She's always curious. The fact that she's an adrenaline junkie tends to make her world that much crazier. Even though she walks the straight line now... Felicia will break the law for the greater good and is seen more as a vigilante than a hero, but could careless what anyone thinks of her; including Lydia Hardy (Felicia's mother). After her mother lied about the supposed death of Walter Hardy, Felicia gave up trying to please her mother and as a result the two have a very strained relationship.

Alignment
Cat works for Heroes for Hire, and so she is seen as a supporter of the Registration Act. Right now, she's still testing the waters and trying to make up her mind if she really does agree with Tony's cause or if the whole thing is truly a bunch of bs made to look all pretty with a bow on top.
Other
Some Spidey and Cat action would be great. Maybe a few fights between the two? I'm not sure right now, so I think I'll just see how things go.
